IT Application Support Analyst

The role is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving socially responsible IT company developing next generation financial technology. The candidate will be based locally to Ilkley, West Yorkshire and is a highly resourceful and experienced support analyst who will be motivated, innovative, and who relishes a challenge. They will provide support to end users on various technical issues and problems and will also be responsible for responding to, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner according to SLA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional 1st and 2nd line customer application support
• Effective triage and management of issues
• Ensure resolution of assigned incidents assigned to the resolver teams
• Own and effectively manage the support queue
• Proactive monitoring of supported systems in order to proactively identify issues and minimise disruption to production platform
• SLA management and reporting
• Customer engagement during onboarding
• Produce quality documentation including user guides, training manuals and support documents

Skills & Experience:

• Effective and confident communicator
• Analytical skills as well as an ability to think outside the box
• Work effectively within a geographically dispersed team and customer base
• SaaS and web application support experience
• 1st and 2nd line support and SLA management
• Remote desktop support
• Financial industry experience is desirable
• Willingness to occasionally travel to customer sites

IT Application Test Analyst

The candidate will be based locally to Ilkley, West Yorkshire and is a highly resourceful and experienced test analyst who will be organised, innovative, and who relishes a challenge. The role involves quality assurance on a portfolio of applications as an integral part of the test function within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply tests to analyse new software products
• Prepare and maintain test plans and scripts
• Schedule tests and identify resources required to execute
• Set up automated tests where appropriate
• Test execution and record keeping
• Identify and resolve errors
• Work effectively across all teams
• Experience in SaaS and API testing
• Experience in using industry standard testing/defect management tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Agile/Scrum based testing
• Escalate key risks and issues to the respective stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

• Analytical skills as well as an ability to think outside the box
• Consistently deliver to time, cost and quality across multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies and methods
• IT application software testing
• Automation experience with a focus on web-based applications is desirable
• Financial industry experience is desirable
• Willingness to occasionally travel to customer sites

PHP Developer

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases.

Main duties will be to support the development of a suite of web-based applications. Day to day you will be working as part of a small team of PHP developers, building existing and new customer-facing applications. Knowledge of accounting and financial services will be
useful in this role.

Responsibilities
• Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
• Document features, technical specifications & infrastructure responsibilities
• Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications

Skills required:
• PHP
• MySQL
• Apache
• jQuery
• Base JavaScript
• HTML / CSS
• Building and using secure APIs
• Bootstrap / material design (nice to have)

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of commercial experience in application development and software design, specifically PHP and JavaScript
• Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), PHP backend, and MySQL databases
