incuto to speak at Financial Inclusion Forum

incuto CEO Andrew Rabbitt will be speaking at FinTech North’s virtual Financial Inclusion Forum, taking place on Friday 25 June 2021.

Featuring a stellar speaker line-up including Nabeel Irshad, Vice President Government & Public Sector UK&I, Mastercard. Vanessa Northam, Head of Strategic Relationships, StepChange, Nick Quin, Head of Financial Inclusion, LINK and Katherine Ryan-Hughes, Head of Propositions, Customer Experience and Comms – HSBC Expat, Channel Islands & Isle of Man, incuto will be covering the significant contribution credit unions are making to financial inclusion.

Following the successful launch of this event in December 2020, FinTech North is looking to continue important discussions on financial inclusion and what Fintech can do as a sector to find solutions to this complex societal issue. Attendees will be joining from the fintech, financial services, charity and private sectors, for what promises to be an engaging and insightful debate.

Commenting on incuto’s contribution, Andrew Rabbitt says: “The pandemic has shone a light on poverty in the UK, and the challenges faced by those who are either unbanked or financially excluded. Even as we emerge from lockdown, the problems of debt and lost earnings will be front of mind for many individuals and families, and collaboration is vital to ensuring the most vulnerable have easy access to financial products and services that are affordable.”

Andrew will also be covering how incuto is enabling credit unions and community banks to open up their services to a wider audience. The combination of technology and an enhanced digital experience for Members, plus strategic partnerships which enable credit unions to offer market leading services such as Faster Payments, inclusion on comparison websites and financial education tools, must all play a role.

“Working alongside credit unions for many years, we’ve always believed a holistic approach is the only way of engaging more Members and ensuring as many as possible benefit from their fairer, more inclusive approach,” Andrew continues. “It’s brilliant to see Fintechs for social good like ourselves, coming together with private sector providers and policy makers to champion financial inclusion for all.”
